Long He is an associate professor of decision sciences at the George WashingtonUniversity School of Business (GWSB). Prior to oining GW, Long was an associate professorin the Department of Analytics & Operations at NUs Business School, National University ofSingapore. He received his Ph.D. in Operations Research from the University of CaliforniaBerkeley, and his B.Eng. in Logistics Management and Engineering from HKUST. His currentresearch involves using optimization and machine learning tools to address problems insmart city operations (e.g., vehicle sharing, electric vehicle, energy system, and last-miledelivery) and supply chain management. This line of research has been recognized with theM&sOM Journal Best Paper Award, Transportation Science & Logistics (TSL) Best PaperAward, and ENRE Best Publication Award in Energy frOmINFORMS.
